Chorus Connect With Sponsorship Deal
Chorus, the expanding Portishead-based IT specialist, has signed
an exclusive deal with Only Connect to sponsor the company's
prestige Bristol business and social networking events for the
remainder of 2010.
Only Connect was founded two years ago by Bristol-based TV
presenter, Sunday Mirror columnist and entrepreneur Jamie Breese,
who was inspired by the way networking is done in Los
Angeles. Using the best venues to create a chic, relaxed,
welcoming and upper-tier networking experience and the skills of
experienced co-hosts who introduce and build bridges between
guests, the new concept of business and social networking combined
has been taking Bristol by story with 400 of the region's business
leaders, entrepreneurs and "movers and shakers" attending the most
recent event.
Each of the next four evening events will now see the Chorus
branding delivered to hundreds of guests and through a focused
marketing campaign to the Only Connect Bristol invitation lists,
with Chorus following in the footsteps of former sponsors such as
luxury brand Dior, wealth management firm Cheviot and lifestyle
business Cannons Health Clubs.
The sponsorship deal is a perfect fit, says Anthony Sherry,
Business Development Director of Chorus. "We were attracted
to sponsoring Only Connect events because they are exciting and
different." Anthony says. "Taking a fresh approach is exactly
what we do at Chorus too - by being approachable, talking to other
businesses in their own language and making IT fun - and we're
proud to be part of a prestigious series of events that are helping
to bring some of the region's leading business people
together."
"Over the last two years Only Connect has become the place to be
for making new contacts, securing new business and having a great
time and our events continue to attract dynamic and like-minded
people of all ages." comments James Breeze. "Having sponsors
like Chorus, which is an exciting, growing company and great fun to
work with, only adds to the prestige and success of our business
and networking evenings."
The sponsorship deal comes following a busy few months for
Chorus which has seen the company celebrate its 10 year
anniversary, relocate to new larger 2500 sq ft premises, expand its
team from 10 to 17 and form four divisions within the company to
support its customers with everything from expert technical support
to Microsoft XRM which provides the latest applications and tools
to take clients beyond traditional Customer Relationship Management
(CRM).
Chorus was co-founded in September 1999 from a home-based office
in Shirehampton by Managing Director Mark Taylor. Mark, who
came from a large IT company background, decided to apply the
principles he had learnt in providing IT support to big business to
smaller customers with the aim of delivering honest,
straightforward, easy-to-understand and pro-active IT support to a
very high standard with clear transparent pricing.
The company, which is a specialist in IT support, Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) systems, multi-sited operations and site to site
connection, now serves clients ranging from charities to large
corporates, manufacturers to law firms and retailers to recruitment
companies throughout the South West, nationally and even
internationally, looking after clients' IT needs as far afield as
Finland.
